Busting myths

 Myths related to RAS exam

1. Reading many books

Limit your resources. That's the only key to success. Don't go for every book available in the market. Limit your resources for current affairs as well. Standard books+NCERTs+RBSE books are sufficient. For quick revision & value addition one can refer any coaching notes.

2. Coaching is compulsory

Not at all. To be very honest, I have taken coaching because I was confused & needed guidance. It's not mandatory. You can crack it by self study too.

3. Study for 14-16 hours a day

You don't have to study for long hours. I believe studying 5-6 hours is sufficient. When the prelims/mains is just 1-2 months away, one can study for 10-12 hours with adequate amount of sleep.

4. Using complicated language in mains answer writing

A big no! Use simple language with essential keywords & facts. Using complicated words or language might confuse the examiner. Focus on presentation & try to understand the question.

Note- These are my views on RAS exam. Views may differ from person to person.

      Special those people who did graduation(B.tech) in English and school in Hindi medium...
      And apne konsa medium chuna.... because you are also dii b.tech

      Don't read it cover to cover. Do a selective reading of macroeconomic indicators, schemes etc. Use economic survey published by Govt of Rajasthan.

      Make a list of your weak points. Unfortunately we have not been provided our answer sheets yet. But look out for your test series copies for possible mistakes. Jismen low marks hain uspe jyada focus kren

      Use tenders from newspapers, official letters from govt websites, editorials for translation and precis writing etc. More topics will be given in test series as well.

      This question involves the use of current affairs extensively. Throwing light on how politics of India and rajasthan is shaping. Read polity section of CA magazines. Make base with the use of Google. I have referred SBA notes for the base and then updated with CA monthly compilation.

      1. Short notes of major schemes.(with regular updation)
      2. Summary of economic survey.
      3. Newspapers.
      4. Test series and notes.

    I am giving RAS mains this year. Now I am struggling a bit in subjects related to Rajasthan...

    I need your guidance in following :
    1) If I make 100 words notes of each syllabus topic... would it be sufficient ?
    2) I have joined mains test series. I want to know about your answer writing strategy in RAS mains so that I can improve in all the subjects.

    It would be a great help if you are able to provide your test copies and a guidance to me ma'am...!

Journey through 2022

  It's, 2022 and just entered a phase called "public service". Yeah, as the name suggests "in the service of public". So, it has lot to do with the people. It all started with a 'tutoring project' on 'how', 'when', 'why' and 'what'.
