Interview preparation- Do's and Don't's

 Do's:

1. Make your mind ready to face any sort of question, that question can be from your background or can be anything else you don't know.

2. Take a chill pill- why to worry? It's just a conversation.

3.Be specific- Whatever question is being asked, stick to the question.

4. Dress and looks- Look like an "officer". For girls, it's not necessary that you wear a saree. Be decent in looks. Be simple and sober.

5. Knowledge is power- Read and retain. Understand things and try to implement as an "officer" in your answers. Read current affairs thoroughly.

6. Language is not a barrier- As I always say, language is not a hurdle. Speak in the language you are comfortable.

7. Mirror practice- It definitely helps.

Don't's:

1. Everything under the sun is not to be read. Segregate into following heads:

a). Background- Hometown, education etc.

b). Hobbies

c). Achievements/talents

d). Situation based questions

e). Current affairs

f). Misc things related to you.

2. Don't beat around the bush. Answers should not be stretched too long.

3. Don't read too much before the interview.

4. Don't wear anything which makes your interview controversial.

5. Don't panic even if you don't know the answer to any specific question.
