Interview preparation- Do's and Don't's
Do's: 1. Make your mind ready to face any sort of question, that question can be from your background or can be anything else you don't know. 2. Take a chill pill - why to worry? It's just a conversation. 3. Be specific - Whatever question is being asked, stick to the question. 4. Dress and looks - Look like an "officer". For girls, it's not necessary that you wear a saree. Be decent in looks. Be simple and sober. 5. Knowledge is power - Read and retain. Understand things and try to implement as an "officer" in your answers. Read current affairs thoroughly. 6. Language is not a barrier- As I always say, language is not a hurdle. Speak in the language you are comfortable. 7. Mirror practice- It definitely helps. Don't's: 1. Everything under the sun is not to be read. Segregate into following heads: a). Background- Hometown, education etc. b). Hobbies c). Achievements/talents d). Situation based questions e). Current affairs f). Misc things...
